So much...

  • Currently: Ack... My eyes.
  • Music: Tank (Cowboy Bebop) in the background.
  • Mood: Eh.... No mood really.
  • Random Word: Pen.

Wow, so much has happened lately. I got contacts! ^_^ -dances- And they're in the process of bugging me right now. ._.; But  I can see! =^^= Go me! And what else, what else. -thinks. -gasp- I got AIM! ^^ Whoo! And........ That's it for now. I think. ^^; Surbey time! But what's this?! It's an ART survey! ^^ How different.

What is your favorite subject to draw? Anime/ Manga.
What is your most common choice in 2-d media? Mechanical pencils. 0.5 lead.
Anything you refuse to draw? I refused to draw porn for this one guy a long time ago. oo;;
Real anatomy or cartoon physics? It's anime.... oo It's both. Although sometimes I do draw profiles for people.
Which is more important - solid inking skills or solid color theory? Inking.
Photoshop or PSP? Illustrator or Painter? .....................What?
Markers - Prismacolor or Tria? I don't really color my artwork. I always think I'm gonna mess up on it. -nervous fidget-
Paints - oils, acrylics, or watercolors? I think oils.
Have you ever done a stippling project outside of art class? God no. Stippling takes such a long time.
Ever imitate a popular style of art? (anime, disney, comic book...) Anime. ^^;
How would you define your "style?"  Anime. Mostly I draw serious stuff. But the rest of the time I draw little chibi stuff. ^^;
What is one area of drawing that you need to improve in? I cannot CANNOT draw male hands. Couldn't do it to save meh life. I've gotten better at drawing male bodies but I've never been able to do their hands.
When did you start drawing as a hobby? Yes, we all did draw when we were small. But.... I'd say when I was in fifth grade. That's when I stared drawing Tenchi and DBZ pictures. ^^;;;
What kind of sketchbook do you have? Brand? Size? How old is it? What kind do  I have? Erm... Lemme check. -goes off- I've got Canson right now but i don't really stick to one brand. I just grab which ever one is a spiral bound sketchbook. I hate the ones that you have to flip up. Brand size.... Uhhh.... -goess off again- .... I dunno. ^^; And I;ve had it since June but it's slmost spent up.
How many sketchbooks have you had previous to this? Oooooo..... Uh.... I didn't get my first one until  I was sixth grade soooo.... I'll say.... I can only think of eight but there's most likely more than that.
How many sketchbooks do you go through in a year? Sou sa Ama-san. It depends 9on how many pages the book has/ But maybe tw  or three. I don't really have as much time as I used too.
#2 yellow pencil or a clicky pencil? Usually a mechanical pencil but if I'm out I'd use a regular pencil.
What kind of eraser do you use? The white ones?
Who are your artistic influences? Well, in the past (when I was still in elementsry school, it was Akira Toriyama (creator of the Dragonball series) and the creator of the Tenchi series. Then when I got in junior high, it was be Rumiko Takahashi (Inu-Yasha) and Yoshiro Togashi (Yu Yu Hakusho) but now I've just come up with my own style. It's not distinctive from everyone else's really, it's just much diferent fro mhow it used to be. But my favorite manga artist right now is Masashi Kishimoto, the creator of Naruto.
What books would you reccomend to aspiring artists? I don't really read any books but if you want to see some pretty darn good manga go read Naruto.
Do you have any favorite online tutorial sites? Nope.
What is the most money you've ever made on one drawing / illustration / painting? I don't charge for any manga drawings or potraits.
What do you hope to accomplish with your art? I would like to work as a manga-ka but I tried to draw a couple comics lately and I just never have the time to get 'em done.^^;
Finally, why do you draw? Because I like too.

Whoo! That's all for now! Ja ne...
